Dr. Roedl is a board certified and fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologist who specializes in imaging and minimally invasive image-guided procedures for sports-related injuries.
He is an attending radiologist at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in the Musculoskeletal Division, which interprets the MRIs and performs the image-guided procedures for the professional sports teams in Philadelphia including the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers. He also practices at the Vincera Institute.
Dr. Roedl focuses on MRI and ultrasound for diagnosing sports related injuries and uses minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided techniques for the treatment of tendon, muscle, joint or nerve injuries in professional and amateur athletes.
Dr. Roedl earned his medical degree in Germany, then went to Boston to complete his internship at Massachusetts General Hospital and his radiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
He then began to specialize in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions during his fellowship at Jefferson.
